3/14/2023- Our appraiser just took a look at this necklace and said it is rare to find pearls of this quality.
This antique pearl necklace has 11 diamonds on each platinum "bead". The necklace comes apart where the platinum rings are and could even be worn separately or together if you have a small neck.
Pearls are formed by layers of calcium carbonate, when a microscopic irritant gets into a living shelled mollusk or other animal.
